These are tough, so here are some tips. I am no expert at this quest, so everyone feel free to add what you have learned, too!

- Best with 2 clerics, 2 tanks and 2 casters.
- Many giants to kill, have greater giant bane or giant bane weapons
- Must work as team, this one is TOUGH.

- Finishing quest not as tough as the dragon/giant combos are. The dragons and their giants must die within 10 seconds of each other, or the one that died resurrects with FULL HIT POINTS!

- You do get to shrine just before each dragon/giant combo, so that helps.
If our time together on Eberron helps make us better people on Earth, it is worth it.

Minor update to what you said. The best group is 2 DBS types(Fighter etc.) 2 caster types with flesh to stone, and 2 healer types( Cleric/Bard). Again this just makes it the easiest to defeat, not that you can't complete it any other way.

For those doing the quest for the first time, make sure that you talk to the nice Kobald and select all conversation options or you won't be able to do the raid.

For the dragons:
White: make sure that your party has Freedom of Movement, as the ice will slow you down.

the gate keepers/ white dragon and blue dragon

for sake of knowledge there are a couple "hiding" places in each of these sections. for the gatekeeper, when fighting his minions there is a spot on each side to jump into and behind a pillar which allows you to cast spells from a safe spot. Inthe white dragons lair there is also one just behind where the giant is initially stannding ..it requires a jump of at least 30+ and requires you to do a double jump but it also allows you to cast spells from a safe spot. Now the blue dragon is tricky and i haven't tried it yet, though ihave the jump skill to do it..it requires(i am told) a jump of at least 41 and you need to use a shield to jump onto one of the pillars..again this is a safe spot from the lightning but as for the giant i am not sure.Any corrections to this would be appreciated but as far as i know the other two spots do work.

well my take is one cleric 2 to 3 casters 2 dps and one other of any type of fodder

just speaking from exp done it few times ;-)

its real fun one cleric 2 casters and a tank
