The first is the DDO Crafting Planner which can be found by searching the forums. More than just a planner you can keep track of ingredients, the raid timers on all of your toons and has a puzzle solver, and much, much more. A great DDO tool.

The second is a puzzle solver which I believe is better than the one in the planner. It can be found here: perfectweb.org/solver/vale_puzzle.html

Now, you have no excuses.

That web site was awesome. It was great to have the crafting dumbed down so a caveman like me could figure out what I needed. NOW, I'm looking forward to the next Shroud run rather than dreading the "not knowing what to do" I'm so used to exhibiting. Cheers!

For those that heard me talk about it... heres the link for an application you can download...

http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=137347

I have used this to success in most of my crafting, plus it has other benefits, well worth a look.

Also, I have monitored what it does, and nothing sinister goes on in the background that I can see...

Only advice I would give is, if you generate 2 recipes, don't necessarily believe they will both work. (I have followed the first one shown most times with 100% success, but when I tried the second, it didn't make what I wanted/needed, and I have heard that this can be the case with other crafting tools which this is based upon too so beware.)

Otherwise, an excellent tool.

One other thought ... go for the ingredients, but maybe hold off on mixing. Why? Because Mod 9 brings some new recipes, and you may prefer some of them. Again, keep getting the ingredients, especially the larges, because you will need them no matter what you make!
